ABOUT AMBER
Hi, I'm Amber Dover! I'm a grateful follower of Jesus Christ, a homeschool mom, and a wife to an army vet. I used to run amberdover.com. I have Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder, fibromyalgia, chronic costochondritis, Aspergers, Dysautonomia (POTS), interstitial cystitis, scoliosis, intracranial hypertension, small vessels disease, and several other chronic conditions. I had Endometriosis, adenomyosis, and secondary infertility before my hysterectomy. My father died of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome at age 46. My body has been weak and in pain for a very long time. Because of Aspergers I struggle to self-advocate and get the help I need. Doctors are hard for me. I started this blog to share the side of my life few want to hear, because I know there are many young outwardly beautiful, and healthy-looking people who are dying inside...either from invisible physical or mental illnesses. I know about both. Maybe my experiences can help you know you're not alone. The world may not see your pain but God does and Jesus loves you. I'm praying for you and please pray for me. I will try to be as real and raw as I can. If you're embarrassed by the gross details of chronic illness then look away. I have other blogs which focus on the happy parts of my life.
